About GISTORY

I have made a research about "GISTORY" on the internet; unfortunately, I have found nothing. I assume that the application is either out of use or pnly an umbrella term for creating interactive stories. Regarding second possibility, in our IT & MT lessons, we learned story creating applications and there are previous publishings in this blog that are good examples of story creating applications.

Thinglink & Sutori

THINGLINK Thingling is a creative, multisensorial application for education. Thingling, allows students and teachers to create visual, audial learning and teaching materials which benefits the development of skills during the language teaching. Also, with this accessible tool, "augmented images" can be created as well which is remarkable. Alongside its other benefits, Thinglink, also, provides a learner centredness which has a significant importance in language classes.  https://www.thinglink.com/edu STORY "Sutori is the best way to present information in the remote classroom." (https://www.sutori.com/)

Storybird

STORYBIRD "Storybird is a unique language arts tool. We use illustrations to inspire students to write stories , and our standards-based writing curriculum engages students with age-appropriate video tutorials, writing challenges, quizzes, and more. In a learning scenario, “starting with pictures” is powerful: it stirs the emotions while it engages the brain and jumpstarts students into their text, avoiding the blank-page syndrome. And it's effective. Schools have seen as much as 3-grade level jumps in literacy when using Storybird throughout the year." (https://www.storybird.com/)

Kahoot and Pixton

KAHOOT "Kahoot! is a game-based learning platform that makes it easy to create, share and play learning games or trivia quizzes in minutes." (https://kahoot.com/)  Personally, as a teacher candidate and an active student, I really love Kahoot. Both in high school and university I had chances to play Kahoot in my lessons and it facilitates a lot both learning and having fun. PIXTON https://www.pixton.com/

Journi

JOURNI Journi is an app that would help learning due to the fact that it appeals to visual senses as well as motivating creativity. Although the application is not necessarily and directly made for educational purposes; it can be facilitated for educational purposes as the learning environment should be real world related.

Seesaw

SEESAW " Seesaw is at the heart of the learning process for millions of students. Our platform encourages creativity and feedback that makes students excited to learn.
