WEEK 2

HOW TO TEACH AND HOW TO LEARN

This week our teacher used a very effective way during the lesson. The topic of the week was determined obviously and the topic was information based. Generally teachers give the lesson by preparing and presenting a presentation which is an easy way. However, this week the questions were given beforehand; the answers were positioned and only the uncovering left for the students.
As a college student and a teacher candidate, I learned by learning: both the topic of the week and a creative effective method.

  1. What does learning mean? (between 07.49-10.10)
  2. How does learning occur? (10.10-16.53)
  3. Why do we do the lesson design?
  4. What are the 3 parts of the brain that are localized for learning? (17.00)
  5. How long is the most effective educational video for University students? (19.30)
  6. What are the most remembered parts of a lesson? (20.20)

WEEK 6: 6/6

PADLET      (https://tr.padlet.com/) , Padlet is a platform that students can create "padlet" on their boards however they like. Padlet provides its users to create content using reinforcements such as visuals, videos, lists, markers, etc not only collaboratively but also personally. Students and teachers can share their projects on Padlet to work interactively which enhances learning.Padlet can be used for many purposes and can be used in many ways depending on the imagination of its users. In distance education, using digital boards becomes more effective than traditional tools so that everyone can have access and benefit from the innovations of technology.

Thinglink & Sutori

THINGLINK Thingling is a creative, multisensorial application for education. Thingling, allows students and teachers to create visual, audial learning and teaching materials which benefits the development of skills during the language teaching. Also, with this accessible tool, "augmented images" can be created as well which is remarkable. Alongside its other benefits, Thinglink, also, provides a learner centredness which has a significant importance in language classes.  https://www.thinglink.com/edu STORY "Sutori is the best way to present information in the remote classroom."
